Welcome to the website for my campaign for New York’s 20th Congressional District.

Public service is something that my parents instilled in my brothers, sisters and me throughout our lives. They led by example. They gave me my first lessons in leadership and citizenship.

Growing up surrounded by family and friends in Whitehall, NY taught me early on the values of honesty, common sense and hard work. Again, my parents led by example.

I’d like to think the foundation I received from them growing up in upstate NY is what led me safely home after a 20 year military career.

I’ve always seen the history of America as the history of free people making difficult decisions, even when they weren’t popular or easy, but because it was right for the country, and often, right for the world.

Our country is again faced with trying times and difficult decisions that must be made.

The issues facing America right now - both foreign and domestic - are serious. Their outcome will determine the success of our country and our freedom for generations to come.

Congress has and will continue to play an important role in making these difficult decisions. Unfortunately, the leadership of the current Congress does not seem to be up to seriously and properly doing their job.

Some problems can’t be solved with partisan political solutions. Many of these problems require a level of seriousness that some of our elected leaders no longer seem capable of.

I’m running for Congress because I believe America would be better served if Congress was made up of more people who have real world, on the ground leadership experience with the most difficult issues facing our country. We need individuals who still believe in things like honesty, common sense and hard work. Individuals who take the problems our country is facing right now seriously.

I’m running for Congress in the congressional district I grew up in to bring the leadership skills and real world experience I’ve learned in the military and in corporate America to a place that seems to need them – Washington, DC.

Your interests deserve better representation. Despite what some would like you to believe, this election isn’t about the candidates. It’s about the people who live, work and raise their families in the 20th Congressional District. It’s about each and every one of you.

I’m not running to add a title to my resume or to get experience for the next job I might be seeking. I’m running because I believe that we should expect more from our elected leaders. I’m running because I believe the values and lessons learned growing up in small town, upstate NY still have a place in our world and are sorely missing in Washington.
